Patience, please

I have been trying this quite a few times but blogger will not let me post any pictures at the moment. So be patient, please!

This is our hotel room. Apparently the newest and best hotel here. I must say that the service has been fantastic. Far far far better than any I have ever experienced, even in the Shang in Spore! And the staff speak fluent English, which is of course, wonderful!

Sophie needs her fringe cut, as you can see.

In one of the dept stores nearby, there was this play area where kids could try out the toys on sale. So after lunch the other day, Sophie had a good time playing with the toys. I must buy her a set of cooking utensils, she is into cooking at the moment. I suspect that it may not be as interesting as using my utensils, but I guess she will grow into them and should play with them for some years yet. Am looking around for a good quality set. Rather hesitant to get plastic ones made in China... you never know what will be wrong with them!

Japan Finally!

Finally, finally, after all the packing and busyness and stress; we are here in Japan!
Like all good Singaporeans and Malaysians, our first port of call was a shopping mall! Hehe... Sophie liked the comfortable trolley so much she fell asleep in it.

We took a ride on a ferris wheel which gave a great view of the city.

Of course, Sophie was mainly interested in looking at the birds!

Some Other Antics

Helping Mummy peel the taugeh tails.

Sharing Daddy's fresh orange juice.

Learning to Draw

As you will note, I needed to cover the table with newspaper (and tape it to the table!) so that she doesn't draw on the table with her crayons. Look at the tummy! She is 11kg now!
