Lunch On The Beach

Taking a walk around while waiting for the food to arrive. Going up and down the steps, looking for birds and dogs. You didn't expect me to sit down quietly until the food arrived, did you?



Eating tom yam noodles. Not very spicy even though Mummy threw in the whole saucer of chilli padi.



Wind-swept hair. Waiting for the buggy to arrive to take us back up to the hotel.

The Type of Glass Matters

Enjoying a welcome drink of fruit punch when we checked into our hotel in Phuket.



The next day when she wanted to drink water, she refused the tall cylindrical glass and the tea cup and would only drink from the wine glass! Drink water also must be high class, ne!

Yukata

All dressed up for church in a yukata - summer kimono. We had a tough time convincing her to put in on, for some reason. And when I wanted her to put in on again when we went out for dinner later she totally refused. We bought it from the airport when en route back to S'pore. Rather expensive, but just too cute!

New Experiences

Feeding the fish at Suntec after dim sum at Crystal Jade (yum yum!). Sophie got bored after a little while. The carp were so huge they looked like monsters!

Big Girl

Thank God Sophie had a seat to herself on the flight back to Spore, and 2 seats to herself on the way back. She was almost asleep when we boarded the flight there, but woke up immediately on reaching our seat. We had been hoping for a bit of peace and quiet, but no, she was up and doing colouring in no time. She had her own meal sitting on her own seat as well this time.
