Eating Durian

The durians were from the durian stall at SS2. They even have a website: http://www.durianss2.com/durians.htm which describes the different kinds of durians. I was intrigued by the Raja Kunyit durians (on the website, we didn't eat them, I don't think). They are touted as being number 1 on the Top 10 Durian List. However, they don't list the 'XO Durian' that is sold in Cold Storage here. I wonder which is better. Has anyone tried both?

Old Photos

I was looking through some "old" photos of Sophie taken at CNY to find a different picture to put under 'How I've Grown' on the right column. She has changed so much! She looks so much more like a little girl and less like a baby now...
Now I see what other people mean when they keep saying that she looks different every few weeks. My little baby is growing up so fast! Help!

Goggles

My Daddy has the coolest goggles. When I grow up, I want to have goggles just like him. They're everything a girl could wish for in a pair of goggles - so tinted, so fitting, so cool... they make my Daddy look so dashing! :)

Remote Control Baby

Mop-scapade

I was mopping the floor the other day and had done most of it before Sophie woke up. Then she woke up and naturally, scuttled over to the bucket of water to see what it was. She pulled herself up and found bubbles inside, so naturally, she put her hands in to play.



I took her away but she crawled over to it again. As I had only a tiny bit left to mop, I thought I would just finish it - maybe 2 minutes more - and then clear away the bucket and all. Before I had time to do so, I heard a crash and a wail and little Miss Moppet had overturned the bucket and drenched herself and the floor; knocking her head on the floor when she fell backward. I had then to take her wet romper off and rush to get towels to mop up the water.



As I was mopping up the water, she was 'swimming' on the floor very happily. I took a towel to the bathroom to wring it out and when I came back she was sucking on one of the other towels! As a result our floorboards are now slightly warped!
Oh baby....

Wrist Watch

Is wrist watch one word or two? Anyway, I looked at my watch to find out the time the other day, and it seemed like the face was smudged. I tried wiping it but it was still difficult to see the face. I looked more closely and noticed that it was terribly scratched, not smudged!
And then I remembered finding my watch under the wheels of the wondrous walker......
A little hand must have reached up and pulled it down from the table and then proceeded to run over it...
*Sigh*
At least it's my old watch, not the new one that Calvin bought me last year. Otherwise very sakit hati (heart pain).

I'm sitting on the airplane seat like a big girl while my Daddy has to squat on the floor and read to me.

Naughty Things I Do Part IV

6. I opened Mummy's handbag cupboard and pulled out her handbags. I can still open it even after Daddy locked it. I'm so talented.



7. I overturned the basket with my diapers and threw them all about. But Mummy let me play with them so it's also her fault. By the way, they were CLEAN diapers.

Naughty Things I Do Part III

1. I pulled the table corner guards off the table.



2. I spilled the baby powder everywhere.



3. I opened the cabinet. I can't reach the photo albums inside.



4. I played with the socket - see the socket cover on the floor. I managed to push the chair away which Mummy put to block the socket.



5. I threw a tantrum.
But I'm still a very good girl and Mummy and Daddy love me very much.
