Trying on My Bikini Bottom

I had to try on quite a few of her clothes before packing to see what she can still fit. She liked wearing her bikini bottom and didn't want to take it off for quite a while.

Plastic Bowl

Sophie threw up the other night. She had quite a bit of phelgm and coughed and as a result threw up. The first wave went all over the floor and poor Daddy, but we managed to catch the second wave in a plastic bowl. I left the bowl in the room just in case she threw up again, but she was alright after that.

The next day, I was coughing a bit and she immediately ran to pick up the bowl and handed it to me! She is learning how to take care of Mummy already....

Today I noticed her 'helping' me to put the clothes into the dryer. Unfortunately they were clothes that I had just taken out of the dryer! Well, it's the thought that counts, right?

School Work

Sophie's school really takes learning seriously. She has 3 textbooks and 3 cds. She has a list of about 50 words to learn this month including violin and 'used car'. The teachers teach from the textbooks in school (learn words, chants and songs) and I'm supposed to let her listen to the cds and go through with her again at home!! Needless to say, I don't! I would let her listen to the cds because she loves the songs, but our cd player has died. Last Friday she did cooking in school - pancakes and strawberries. Today she did painting. Not bad for a 1 and a half year old little bunny!

Fruit Droop

On Saturday, Sophie ate 10 (ten) strawberries ('strowbrry') for breakfast; all by herself! She also likes apples ('happle') and oranges. Tonight she was in the room, teeth brushed, ready for bed, when Calvin decided to go out and get himself a slice of apple. She saw him eating and kept asking for it until he gave her the whole slice.

Other fruits she knows are grapes ('gwapes') and banana ('nana').

Almost invariably when I post photos of Sophie on this blog, Calvin will ask me why I chose those pictures. He will say that there were nicer ones of her taken. So, after hearing this last night (again!), I decided to put up most of the photos taken at the same time. You be the judge whether I chose the best ones the first time round! :)

Dance Fever

We have a dance show for Papa every night (well, almost. Some nights I'm too busy reading) before bedtime. After putting on my jammies (aren't they tight around my tummy!) and drinking my mik-mik; I get up on the bed and do my thing. This time I'm dancing to one of my favourite songs: "Quack, Quack, Quack".

Sliding

The playground has become a weekly event now and Sophie has decided that she likes this big slide. She is still a bit scared to go down the smaller slides by herself.





After sliding, we have to climb up a lot of steps to get back to the top of the slide again.



So many steps that Papa has to carry her up in the end!




Look at the little mouth! Both of them enjoyed themselves a lot.
